From that experience, we have selected hundreds of the most popular and highest quality seafood items to bring to your doorstep.
How can I learn more about the products you offer?
Every product we offer has a product description on our website, and youll be able to see a product profile, suggested cooking methods, safe handling instructions, and the source of supply for just about all of them. Many also include nutritional information and some time-tested recipes.
Is there a difference in quality between fresh and frozen products?
Through the use of the latest technology, our frozen items are flash frozen within moments of being harvested or prepared to lock in their freshness and flavor. All of our frozen products include thawing or cooking instructions that allow you to maintain the same level of quality and freshness that our fresh products provide. Many of our items are individually quick frozen so you can take a few portions out of the bag and return the rest to the freezer.
How will I be sure the seafood I order will be fresh when it arrives?
Whether you order fresh, frozen, smoked, or ready to cook seafood, your order will arrive at your door in containers that have been specially designed to provide breakage protection and temperature assurance that exceed both FDA and FAA specifications for the safe and wholesome shipping of perishable goods.
What do I do if my order isnt fresh when I receive it, or if the package is broken?
We are committed to doing whatever it takes to provide you with the freshest, and highest quality seafood available anywhere in the world. If we ever fail to do so, we will promptly refund your money or replace your item with a gift from us for your inconvenience. Please go to our home page, click on "About us" and then click on " Guarantee" to contact us about a problem with any product you receive from us.
Cant I save money by just driving to the store to buy the seafood I want?
While our ability to reach around
the world for our products means that we
will source only the finest products
available, we are able to ship them
directly from the packer to you cutting
out all the intermediate steps that are
associated with supermarket retail
sales. The more a product is handled,
the costlier it becomes since each stop
along the way has its own set of markups
to offset expenses and provide a profit
to the handlers. We also have negotiated
shipping rates with Federal Express to
minimize the overall cost to you.
How can I pay for my purchases?
Seafoods.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
and American Express from our retail consumers, and
wholesale customers and would be happy to establish
credit accounts with qualified wholesalers or food
service professionals. A credit application can be
downloaded from our site by going to the Payment
Arrangements page under the About Us icon on the Home
page and clicking on the appropriate link. Once your
application has been approved, payment can be made by
bank check or corporate check.
What should I do if I have a problem with the system or the website?
If you encounter a problem with any aspect of our
website or any part of the ordering process, just
click on the Help page and we will guide you through
the completion of a service request form. The form
will help us log in your problem, prioritize it, track
it, report on its status to you, and notify you when
it has been resolved.
How can I find out more information about the company and what products you offer?
The easiest and quickest way for you
to learn about Seafoods.com is to go to
our home page and click on the
"About Us" icon. To learn what
products we offer, just click on either
the Consumers or Wholesaler pictures on
the home page, and youll be presented
with 10 icons representing the products
and categories we offer. Clicking on any
one of them will take you to our product
pages for that category where youll
find detailed information on every
available product. If you have a
specific product in mind, you can also
use our search function by typing in the
name of the product and clicking on
"Go". Of course, at any time
you can contact us directly by e-mail at

phone or fax at the numbers found on our
"Contact us" page under our
"About us" icon. Wed be

Can I place an order on the website and have it shipped to another person at a different address?
We are currently changing the design of
our system to accommodate a different billing
and shipping address, but in the interim,
you can use the special notes section on the
payment process page to advise us of a shipping
name and address which differs from the name
and address you provided when you registered
with Seafoods.com. Please Indicate "Ship To:
and then provide us with the full name, full
street address, including apartment or unit
number, (Not a Post office box), city, state,
and postal zip code, and daytime phone number
including the area code. Federal Express
requires all of this information for delivery.
Can I place an order on Friday for delivery on Saturday?
At the present time, orders received after
12 noon EST on Thursday and before 12 noon EST
on Friday will be packed for shipment on Monday
for Tuesday delivery. It is possible to request
Saturday delivery for an additional flat shipping
charge of $15.95, which will be added to your
purchase, and shipping invoice. Please indicate
Saturday delivery in the special notes section
of the payment process page.
