Whenever you click on the Seafoods.com home page, you will be given the option of going to the Consumers, Wholesale or Brokerage sections of our web site. Choosing one of the three options will take you to a product detail page where you can select the products you would like to purchase. If you are new to the site, you will be asked to register with us by proving a few basic pieces of information. You will then select a password of your choosing to guarantee security. When we receive your registration, we will assign you a user name by return email. You may elect to change either your user name or password at any time by clicking on the My Account icon, and editing your profile and preference information. Whenever you return to the site, you can go right to our login screen and begin your next transaction
As you select your purchases, you can add them to your shopping cart by simply clicking on the appropriate button. We will accept online orders around the clock in most cases, and electronically transmit them to the closest regional supplier based on your zip code. At the same time, you will receive an electronic confirmation of the order. The order will be packed for Federal Express next-day delivery in specially designed containers to guarantee that the product will be fresh when received.
Our website has been designed to be the most informative and comprehensive site it can be for every customer from the retail consumer to the most discriminating chef, to the largest buyers of seafood in the world.
The design format includes the ability to search the site by product, (oysters), or by category (Ready-to-cook appetizers or entrees). Each product detail page you access will provide, at a minimum, a product profile, storage and handling instructions, suggested cooking methods, and information on the source of supply. Additionally, most of the pages will also include informative nutritional information, and some time-tested recipes to maximize your dining pleasure. Some of our companion features will allow you to be alerted to specials, to the availability of certain products, and to pricing within the parameters you establish. Rather than be a "take it or leave it" web site, we want to make sure we do everything we can to become your single source for all your seafood needs.
When you have completed your purchase, we will guide you through the payment process based on the information you have provided to us at registration or at the setting up of your account.
